I designed just about everything you will see in the following images! I worked with Custom Color on these amazing large format wall images. The pine needle rug you see here is a homage to Latin American culture, where they lay down pine needle carpets for important guests at community celebrations. I created the design with scans of pine needles and used a custom garage floor covering company to produce it.

I designed the lighting and electrical for the space. That helped me in highlighting areas of important content. I even installed lighting and some of the graphics. It was a very hands-on process.

Photography is key to storytelling. The large format graphics immerse the viewer in Unbound’s history and in the stories of people that Unbound has helped.

I created this round feature to pull people into Unbound’s history through image and sound. I edited together some songs and words from Unbound’s founders and featured them in a motion activated speaker within the curved spaces. The paint on all the whiles was customized to match Unbound’s brand swatches. I installed simple vinyl lettering to highlight core values on the walls.

I worked with the contractor to make this custom doorway. The lighting fixtures were informed by staff members from India to create a homage to that region.

I designed this metal wall to be magnetic, so that staff members can share Unbound successes and stories with other stff members and visitors.

a sense of place

Staff members created this mock home, one that reflects the reality of poverty in the places Unbound works. I flanked the home with some landscape images, added props and provided a soundtrack of sounds from rural villages, cities, music and traffic from around the world.
